I provide individual psychotherapy for adults who are interested in working on a variety of issues, including life stress, depression and anxiety, self-esteem issues, relationship and intimacy issues, life transitions and family conflict.
I use an integrative treatment approach and utilize a multitude of strategies in order to:
- increase insight and awareness about one’s inner conflicts and developmental/interpersonal history
- improve coping and interpersonal skills
- improve overall functioning.
I am interested and utilize approaches from a variety of theoretical orientations and I select the approach that best fits each individual. These include: psychodynamic/insight-oriented “talk” therapy, mindfulness and relaxation, energy psychology techniques and cognitive behavioral therapy. I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for the Treatment of Anxiety and OCD.
